Eh, let her run around in the rain! Kids who roll around in the dirt, get wet and stuff are always the healthiest ones!

Oh no, what a morning!

Baby wipes take crayon off walls fairly well. They've even been known to take felt tip pen off of vinyl floors (yes, I've had to test that one out... *sigh*)

Glad to hear your baby is fine, and well done to you for keeping it together!

It happened to my 10month old this morning. I gave him some of my small bits of soaked cornflake as i usually do (he shares mine with me), and he started choking. He turned purple, i banged his back and eventually after lots of tears from all of us, he coughed it out. The most frightening experience of my life bar none.

Glad you said that it a 'now and again' thing at this stage.

She used the potty independantly for a few days and then just stopped. She now waits for me to wait her again.

I still can't believe that she did it !!

Well done baby! You know, it's pretty common for babies (EC'd ones that is) to show this blossoming starts to independence at this age - 13-15 months. They may only put it all together now and again at this stage, but you are getting a glimpse of what will be the usual thing in the not-too-distant future!
It's still super exciting to see them beginning to take an active part in this part of their needs. So cool.
