Happy One Month Birthday Highchair

Highchair is such a wonderful baby.
He is very content and easily pleased....all he needs is plenty of love, cuddles and milk on tap and that is what he has.

Highchair has great head control, he looks around and at everything. He is a lot more 'with it' than Babychair was in her first few weeks. He is so sturdy and strong, which helps when Babychair 'loves' him. People are always surprised when they hear his age, he is the size of an average 3 month old at a mere month of age and he has gained almost 4 lbs in as many weeks !!!

My girl is now sleeping though the night more. When she is not teething she will sleep 7:30pm to 6 or 7 am !!!

She is now walking...just two or three steps at the moment but moving all the same.

Babychair is getting such a big girl. In this last month she has moved out of our bedroom and into her own room.

She is standing unassisted and sometimes hands free.

Babychair is crawling like a pro, growing like a weed and pulling herself up on anything she can get her hands on. I keep telling her that babies don't walk until they are 14 months old, but I don't think she is listening to me

Sounds wise she says Hiya, Daddy, Mu Mu (which I am trying to shape to Mummy), ringing, whispering and shouts.

She is having problems sleeping well, due to teething. Apart from the week I was in hopsital when she sleep though the night for my mum. I hoped it would continue once I got home. My first night home and she woke up practically every hour to fed, maybe she was just checking I was still there. Though I was so tired I understood how she felt it was good to know she was there too.

She gives wonderful open mouthed kisses and bites our chins and has such a beautiful smile, it melts my heart.

We are very blessed by our loving daughter

Seven Months today.

Baby led weaning is going well. It is very fun and very messy. It takes no longer to prepare tea and eat with our daughter then it did before she started to eat solids but the clear up takes forever

She is crawling well both forward and backwards, though sometimes it seems quite random in which direction Babychair is going to go. After a couple of weeks practice she is crawling from one side of the room to the other with purpose.

Babychair heads for the dining room bookcase and empties the lower shelves repeatly, so I removed all the games/DVDs and put her books there.

We are still ECing, Babychair is clean and often dry and I think less and less about her using a potty as being different, unless someone says anything.

We made it to 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding...hurrah Looking to start solids soon, my little girl is growing up so fast.

She now moving from a sitting to a crawling position and rocking to try and crawl. She is kind of moving a little bit forward sometimes but mainly backwards but she is also getting very frustrated at her lack of real forward movement.

She is also trying without much success to try and pull herself up on the sofa and she loves grabbing moving objects especially swinging hair.

ECing wise, we are around 1 to 5 wee misses a day with an average of 3 a day...more at night. She seems to be going longer between wees maybe 1.5/ 2 hours. Also Babychair has got her first pair's of trainer pants this month and she looks so cute in them She has reduced the shouting as a signal and is looking at and has started to try to move towards the potty when she needs it. I think the less signals is because her energy is in trying to crawl at the moment, so we are mainly back to timing.

I can not believe that we have loved Babychair for 6 whole months, time certainly flies when you are having fun (and sleepness nights)

Happy Fifth Month Birthday my wonderful baby girl.

This last month Babychair is intentionally reaching out to grasp things with great accurace. The sound 'Bah' especially from Daddy is so funny, she slaps her arms around and gets excited. Her normally good sleeping routine has gone to pot recently and we are hoping that this is an teething issue.

She is sitting solid as a rock now and I can leave her sat up on a play mat whilst I leave the room for a moment as she is so sturdy. We are still 100% breastfeeding and having a lovely nursing relationship, may it long continue...I am really feeling good about hopefully reaching the target of 6 months before introducing solids.

ECing wise, we are around 1 to 8 wee misses a day with an average of 5 a day...more at night. She has started using a short shout as an indication that she wants to use the potty and also when she has finished on the potty which is very useful and I hope this continues. There seems to be around a 40 minute to an hour gap between wees on average.

Here is Babychair at three months old.

She laughs now, such a sweet 'ha ha' and everything is so funny

Her hand control is so much better and when she removes her dummy, she tries to jam it back into her mouth again, although it is normally sideways...bless.

Babychair has also decided that going to bed is baaddd and desperately trys to stay awake in case she misses anything. So I often put her on the big bed and cuddle up with her until she falls asleep..mama needs sleep, even if she doesn't.

I can't believe how much I love my little missy..she really is the light of my life. I love my husband but this is nothing compared to what I feel for her. She gets away with waking me at 4am with no bad response, whilst Deckchair wouldn't get away with this behaviour

Our beautiful Babychair at two months old.

She is a lot more awake then she was for the first month, more 'there' if you know what I mean and is putting on weight at a rapid weight...1oz a day. She has wonderful head control for her age and loves to be cuddled and held upright.

When we have put her down for a play or nap, she makes all sorts of interesting noises and wonderful smiles to entice us to pick her up and once picked up she stops as she has what she needed cuddles and I LOVE cuddling her

Babychair is one month old TODAY !!!

Oh my how fast does time fly when you are having fun. I can't even remember what we did before Babychair was here...how did we fill the time ?

Babychair is so beautiful and kissable, one look from her and my heart melts.

In celebration of her one month birthday, we are starting a new tradition. Every month we are going to take a picture of Babychair on our sofa with the beautiful teddy TigerFeet bought her and at the end of the year we can see how she grew up.
