Interesting...
BTW I added one wooden mug tree, bag of yellow feathers, 60 cork coasters, 5 door stops, 5 half metre of small linked chain and 9 plastic medium size flower pots to the list I had from yesterday and set it out in the living room. EDIT And 10 wooden curtain rings I found upstairs.
The first thing Babychair made a bee line for was the two plastic coated cork coasters that I hadn't had chance to unwrap, sad reflexation on the amount of plastic she is familar with at her young age.
So far we have discovered :-
Chains taste very nice
Feathers don't taste nice and stick to your lips.
Tennis balls bounce well off the metal cd rack
Chains banged against the CD rack make a nice sound
Not sure what twine balls are.
Really like chains.
Wooden curtain rings are fun to pull off the mug tree, where silly mummy put them
In fact chains were a big hit, I might buy some more in bigger links.
I have decided that there was far too much stuff out at once...so I packed most of it away and Babychair is now playing with the following items in a more concentrated way.
Mug Tree with curtain rings, chains with cd rack, metal cat bowl and desk tray.
Yep, things are better with a few items, I should rotate every day apparantly, for a random selection of items.
Well, an hour later and she is still playing with the chains...I think they are kinda neat myself
Chains and a cultary stand, total cost about £3 and she has been playing with them for a good 30 minutes already !!!
