I have heard of this happening to other parents and smugly thought that this would never happen to us...How wrong was I ?

Babychair wakes up everyday at 7am, sometimes she'll wake up earlier for a feed but she will be happy to go back to sleep until 7am.

This morning I wake up at 7:30am in a blind panic, waking up DH in the process. I could hear her chirpping away to herself in her room. I opened her bedroom door yelled 'Dear God' and shut the door again.

Yes, she had removed her nappy, poo'd on the cot bedding. The cot, bedding, toys and the child were coated in poo....argghh

I quickly ran the bath, listening to my daughter indignant shouts for her disappearing mummy emmitting from her room. On my return I was greeted by a big toothy smile and outstretched arms. I carefully picked her up at arms length and placed her in the bath, clothes and all.

OMG, there was poo everywhere...but strangely enough, I found the whole situation very funny, I kept on chuckling to myself. Now a year ago, on being greeted on a poo filled room, I would of cried and rung my own mum for advice...but now I am the mum and I got on with the massive cleanup job whilst planning the next stage of prevention. We now double check Babychair has either a wool wrap or shorts over her Bum Genius One Size Pocket Nappies, before we leave her unsupervised. She hates her nappies (which she only wears for sleep) and removes them as quickly as possible, god help us when she learns to undress herself.

Oh Babychair was so funny though and as she loves baths she was rewarded for her poo experiment, so to her mind everything was fantastic this morning.

Better go I have a lot of poo laudary to do now Kids
