Happy Fifth Month Birthday my wonderful baby girl.

This last month Babychair is intentionally reaching out to grasp things with great accurace. The sound 'Bah' especially from Daddy is so funny, she slaps her arms around and gets excited. Her normally good sleeping routine has gone to pot recently and we are hoping that this is an teething issue.

She is sitting solid as a rock now and I can leave her sat up on a play mat whilst I leave the room for a moment as she is so sturdy. We are still 100% breastfeeding and having a lovely nursing relationship, may it long continue...I am really feeling good about hopefully reaching the target of 6 months before introducing solids.

ECing wise, we are around 1 to 8 wee misses a day with an average of 5 a day...more at night. She has started using a short shout as an indication that she wants to use the potty and also when she has finished on the potty which is very useful and I hope this continues. There seems to be around a 40 minute to an hour gap between wees on average.

Q1. My car broke and it would cost far too much to mend so I'm on foot for the foreseeable future.

Q2. Plus I was really hoping to be made redundant from my job (as you know it turned into a nightmare whilst I was pregnant and I dread returning) and I found out today that they aren't making anyone redundant even though they have to halve the workforce by July 07

Q3. Also my husband damaged his car whilst we were on the way to shops just to window shop to cheer ourselves up.

It never rains but pours...but strangely nothing matters, as Babychair is so wonderful smiley and loving and so everything else will sort itself out.

A1. No car means more exercise walking whilst wearing Babychair for me...excellent - cheaper than a gym membership

A2. No redundancy means time for me to sort our house out and love Babychair and DH and not think about work for several months (whereas if I had got redundant I would be looking for another job sooner)

A3. Maybe my husband will take more care whilst driving, to avoid future car damage.

So maybe everything as a purpose...now all I have to figure out is how to get to my friends house for her birthday, which is 150 miles away with no money or car
