How Big !!!!

The lovely midwife who runs the local aqua class, said it wouldn't hurt to try a reputable acupuncture clinic to try and naturally induce labour. Sounds more appealing than membrane sweeps or a hospital based inducement.

I found a recommendation on the Sheffield Forum for this local lady, who is a member of the British Acupuncture Council to kick start labour. I had a lovely chat with her and she has always succeeded in starting overdue womens labour, I really hope I don't spoil her claim to fame

I have booked an appointment for this afternoon at 4:15pm and guess what her surgery is called...Bramble Acupuncture....it must be a good sign. As Bramble is also the name of the tamed feral cat who is very bonded to me and follows me around the house at all times.

My husband wanted me to check this out with a proper medical expert, so I had a doctor's appointment this morning to check out if there was any problems with having an acupuncture session being so pregnant.

To my surprise the doctor was very supportive and though he pointed out there is no scientific reason for acupuncture to work, he believed it did work. He even referred patients to the lady I have found.

UPDATE: Well, I had my session this afternoon, she said if I go into labour in the next 24 hours she gets the credit and she wants me to text her if I do or not.

But nothing to report yet just constant BH as normal, though Bert seems to be a bit more active today
