Just counting

Future plans to occupied my time until Bert comes, include :-

1. General housework and a basket of ironing
2. Reorganising kitchen cupboards (which were done a couple of months ago but I want items in different places now)
3. Reorganising the living room (though a lot of the physical work will have to be done by DH as he has banned me from carrying stuff upstairs, I'm just measuring things and planning)

Hopefully by the time I have finished those jobs, Bert will have made an appearance.

I'm not sure why but a couple of days before my due date I had an complete attitude change and I went from being very happy being pregnant and patiently awaiting, to being very fed up and impatiently waiting.

I don't think it helps that I am getting less and less sleep every night and getting more and more uncomfortable during the time I'm awake. I have a cycle of standing up, sitting down and lying down at intervals to try and get comfy.

I know this is just natural and that all pregnant women get uncomfortable at the end, I think it is the lack of planning which is getting me down. I am so focused on waiting for my child to be born and I have no other plans to think about and I don't dare make any plans until our baby comes.

Yesterday I spend a couple of hours walking around/sitting down in our garden, even though it was cold with the wind and overcast skies just to get out of the house !!!

Luckily today I have stuff to do around the house, plus I have an aqua natal class midday to look forward too.

I love the aqua classes as I can move so much easier in the water and I like the meeting after the class when the midwife teacher and the pregnant women get together in the cafe with chip buttys and have a chat
