I was going to write a long and interesting blog entry but on the other hand my friend TigerFeet had done a wonderful one
here.
So as I was with TigerFeet all day, I'm going to pinch her blog entry

Naughty aren't I !?!
BabiesEverywhere and I had a grown-up girlie day together on Thursday, Little'un went to nursery so we were sprog free and YorkshireMan’s employers were good enough to send him on a supermarket audit road trip around the South West and Midlands of England for a couple of days so there were no men either .
We started by indulging in (for me) a back, neck and shoulder massage and (for BabiesEverywhere) a Mum-to-Be treatment at a local beauty salon. We emerged freshly pummelled, relaxed and reeking of lavender oil into bright sunshine and meandered slowly to the pub, where we had a leisurely lunch in a beer patio garden overlooking the river. I got my annual “forgetting how easily I burn when the sun comes out” ritual out of the way, ending up with a nicely sunburned arm by the end of lunch. Typically though, the red has already faded back to pasty white and I have no tan.
Plan A for the afternoon was a trip to the cinema, but Boston being the one horse town that it is the cinema only opens in the evening through the week, so we cheerfully embarked on plan B - looking round all the baby shops within a 35 mile radius. You may think I jest, however there are very few towns, let alone baby shops within 35 miles of here so we started with the little one in Boston and ended up at the Kiddicare store in Peterborough (35 miles away). We were like children in a sweet shop but (in my opinion) were fairly restrained - BabiesEverywhere bought her “Bert” a cot, a bargain in the sale, and I bought some scary stuff to aid our latest project - moving Little'un from her cot to a bed - namely a gate for her bedroom door to stop her throwing herself down the loo or the stairs and a bed guard to (hopefully) stop her falling out of bed.
We returned to Boston well pleased with our day’s work. We collected Little'un from nursery in time for BabiesEverywhere had a look round as she is going to start looking for nurseries for her baby soon. Once Little'un was in bed we watched Mr & Mrs Smith whilst I drank wine and BabiesEverywhere drank Dr Pepper.
All in all a superb day
