I have bitten the bullet and started wearing maternity clothes and oh my how much more comfortable they are than my bigger clothes.

As I have gone down three dress sizes before my wedding, I had kept my bigger clothes and was just going back up the bigger clothes sizes as my bump got bigger.

But bigger clothes are not shaped right for the pregnant body and now I am in proper maternity clothes with belly bands at the top, I look and feel so much more pregnant and comfortable.

More exciting is that I was lucky enough for a good friend to loan me her maternity clothes and I honestly thought I would not fit in these clothes as my wedding dress was a size 24 (label size 26 but taken down to a size 24 by the dressmaker.)

So although I knew I had lost a bit more weight I had no idea I would fit in her size 18 clothes !!!

I know in a lot of ways it is quite sad to be proud to be down to such a large size, but it is the thinnest I have been in years. It looks like I'll have a better figure after pregnancy then before, not something most women can say
